Famous Nigerian blogger Linda Ikeji donated N1 Million as part of an effort to put an end to the deadly Ebola virus which has claimed thousands of lives across West Africa.

The donation was made at the Future Awards Africa 2014 that was held recently in Lagos.

The memorable event which was hosted by Flavia, Ice Prince, Osas Ighodaro, and Iyanya was graced by notable dignitaries such as Funke Akindele, Seyi Shay, Dakore Akande, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Timi Dakolo, Uti Nwachukwu, Toolz, Toke Makinwa and other entertainers.

However, the highpoint of the event was the TFAA’s #STOPEBOLA campaign which involved an auction on an A-List haute couture designer, Lanre Da Silva Ajayi’s custom made dress.

The popular female blogger, Linda Ikeja, walked away with the dress after bidding N1 million.

The money will go to the United Nations Ebola Response Fund in support for the fight against the deadly virus.
